THE PARTNERSHIP
Mike Brown is partnering with WeUpNow Gaming, LLC to fund the launch of the WeUpNow Academy. The WeUpNow Academy is a 6-12 week immersion program uniquely designed to teach minority youth how to monetize their gaming experience. All donations are welcomed, but individuals that donate at least $100 will be entered into a raffle to win two (2) of six (6) Club Level seats in section C338 to watch #4 University of Cincinnati vs #1 University of Alabama in the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium on December 31. All proceeds will be used to purchase the essential equipment needed to successfully complete the WeUpNow Academy, such as laptops, microphones, webcams, monitors, etc.
WeUpNow Gaming, LLC is more than a gaming company, it is a company with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the gaming arena. The Video Gaming Industry is now estimated to be worth $178.73 Billion in 2021, with only 2% of the professionals in the industry identifying as black. The goal of this partnership is to raise awareness of the inequities in gaming surrounding areas of inclusion and accessibility to basic resources, while fostering a safe space for gamers.
